3. Shipping Method & Carriers
We ship books from our own warehouse via FedEx, UPS or USPS. Estimated transit times below do not include processing time.
3.1. Economy (USPS Media Mail)

Delivery time – USPS Media Mail is the most affordable option for books, typically taking 2–8 business days, but delivery is not guaranteed and may take longer during. Rural addresses, Alaska, Hawaii and U.S. territories could see delivery times up to several.

Tracking & insurance – Media Mail does not include automatic tracking or insurance; these may be added for an additional.

Eligibility – Only eligible printed materials (books, manuscripts, etc.) qualify for Media Mail; other items or inserts cannot be included.
3.2. Standard Ground (UPS/FedEx/USPS Ground)

Delivery time – UPS Ground shipments typically reach local or regional destinations in 1–2 business days, and cross‑country shipments in 3–5 business. The combined ground services of UPS/FedEx/USPS generally deliver within 1–5 business days, depending on.

Service area – Ground services deliver Monday through Saturday to all 50 states and Puerto Rico.

Tracking & insurance – Tracking is included; insurance may be purchased at checkout.
3.3. Expedited & Express
We offer faster options such as FedEx 2‑Day or Next‑Day Air. Delivery times range from 1–3 business days after processing. Please note:

Express carriers may not deliver to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses.

Additional surcharges may apply for Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico.

Amazon purchases – Shipping rates and any free‑shipping eligibility are set by Amazon and will appear during checkout.

Direct website purchases – Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the method chosen, destination and weight of your order. Economy options are the lowest cost; expedited services are priced higher. If you set a free‑shipping threshold (e.g., orders over $X), explain it here and note any exceptions (e.g., remote addresses, oversize items).

Taxes and import duties (if international shipping is offered) are the responsibility of the customer.
5. Domestic & International Shipping

Domestic – We currently ship to addresses within the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories. Remote locations may experience longer delivery times.

International – At this time we do not ship internationally. If you plan to offer international shipping later, note that additional duties, taxes or customs fees may apply and are the customer’s responsibility.
6. Delivery Restrictions

P.O. Boxes & APO/FPO: Some carriers cannot deliver to P.O. boxes or military addresses, especially for expedited servicesbookweb.org. Please provide a physical street address to ensure accurate delivery.

7. Tracking & Lost Packages

Tracking numbers will be emailed once your order ships (except for Media Mail shipments unless you purchase tracking).

We are not responsible for packages delayed due to carrier service interruptions, severe weather, or incorrect shipping information.

Return & Exchange Policy
1. General Policy
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you need to return or exchange an item, please review the terms below. This policy applies to orders placed through our website. Books purchased via our Amazon link must be returned through Amazon; please follow the return instructions on your Amazon order page.
2. Return Eligibility

Return window – Books may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Industry guidelines suggest providing a defined time frame, typically 15–30 days. Returns received outside this window may not be accepted.

Condition – Returned books must be in their original condition, unused and undamaged, with all original packaging and any accessories or inserts intact. Without a receipt/invoice, returns may be approved at our discretion for store credit at the book’s current value. Used, marked or damaged books are not eligible for return.

Non‑returnable items – Digital downloads, gift cards, and sale or clearance items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
3. Exchanges
We will gladly replace books that arrive damaged or defective. Please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order if there is an issue. For exchanges unrelated to damage (for example, if you ordered the wrong title), we recommend returning the book for a refund and placing a new order.
